Día de la Candelaria in Mexico

Date: February 2, 2019.  Día de la Candelaria (Candlemas) represents a fusion of pre-Hispanic traditions and Catholic beliefs. It would be celebrated on February 2nd, and falls forty days after Christmas. The ceremony is celebrated by Catholics as the 'Feast of Purification'. And guests can look forward to processions, music, dances, food, and more.

Día de la Constitución (Constitution Day)

Date: February 5, 2019. The national holiday is celebrated in honour of the current Mexican constitution, which was signed in 1917. You can look forward to small parades in the city.

Zona Maco

Art-aficionados will love to be a part of the Zona Maco art fair, which is one of the most important fairs in Latin America featuring international contemporary and modern art. Carnival of Bahidorá

Tentative Dates: February 15-17 2019. How about being a part of a music experience where you can get in touch with nature that will awaken all your senses? You’d love the Carnival of Bahidorá, which will be held on the river banks of Las Estacas, Morelos (2-hours drive from Mexico City). One of the hippest music festivals in Mexico, the music carnival will bring indie artists together from all-over-the-world.
